Welcome to Space, an innovative skill designed to enhance collaboration and information retrieval within your organization. With Space, you can effortlessly upload various types of documents at once irrespective of file formats, creating a centralized repository of knowledge and then ask questions based on these documents, receiving responses generated purely from the content within.

Rationale

Employees often spend a significant portion of their time searching for specific information within scattered documents and files. Why not ask for help from a tool designed to streamline this process? Space can assist you by providing a centralized repository where you can upload documents and ask questions based on their content. This ensures quick and accurate retrieval of information, enabling efficient handling of reports, client briefs, and other important documents. You have the flexibility to define the focus of your queries and receive precise answers, enhancing productivity and collaboration within your organization.

What´s cool about it

  • Supporting most frequent file formats: native PDF, PowerPoint, and Word documents
  • Individual files of up to 50MB, in total up to 1 GB of files
  • You can specify how the assistant should behave – how you prefer your answers etc.
  • You determine who can manage and who can use the space – including your entire company to do so
  • Your content is not used for retraining
  • Secure and GDPR compliant

All operations are conducted using Microsoft Azure, ensuring confidentiality and that all data remains within Europe

Special Remarks

The functionality is currently available via our WebApp to paying business customers only.

Because of the nature of this functionality (in contrast to all other skills of Brian) the files are stored for a longer period of time. The documents will be deleted a) After you delete those via the WebApp, b) By the last day of your paid subscription or c) After a longer period of non-use of the space.

Trouble?

For troubleshooting, consider the following:

  • Brian can answer questions based on three types of documents (native PDF, pptx and docx)
  • If you have a scanned PDF, please convert it to Word or PowerPoint using Brian and then upload documents using the converted file
  • Note that Brian has no access to your file system, you need to upload the files
  • You can attach multiple file at once irrespective of the file format, you can upload up to 5 files at once
  • Brian can not process encrypted files – some files are protected from processing even if it is not visible for you – so, if Brian tells you the file is encrypted, he can not handle it
