Rationale
Consultants and business professionals are often faced with the task of analyzing a particular company in depth. This requires a structured approach, industry knowledge and the ability to find data. The bottom line, however, is to draw conclusions from the analysis that lead to added value. Your buddy Brian will be happy to do the first part for you, so you have even more time and a fresh mind for doing the qualitative part.
Scope
Data coverage
Brian provides an X-ray with over 1,000 data points for each publicly-traded company. Data is provided as Excel file as well as in a comprehensive Powerpoint. This is the basic structure of Brian’s analysis:
- Insights: This sheet contains business intelligence data (industry, financial commentary, key officers,…) as well as 140 structured ratios for the company
- Annuals: This sheet contains all the data available for the particular company based on the company’s P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement as reported
- Quarters: This sheet contains the last 5 quarters’ data for the particular company including the data for the latest quarter based on the company’s P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements as reported
Covered companies
I cover 50,000 publicly traded companies! You can ask for Tesla, Apple, Samsung… whatever public company comes to mind!
