Questions and Answers

Your data remains your data. We process content exclusively for the fulfilment of functions and do not store any sensitive information nor use it for retraining. Our AI is based on GDPR-compliant technologies

What are installation pre-requirements?

Windows operating system and Microsoft PowerPoint (Office 365 recommended). No admin rights required for add-in use after installation.

How is the add-in ensuring the user authentication?

To use the add-in, the Microsoft PowerPoint account you are logged in with must have an active subscription – needs to be equal with the email you used when registered for the trial. Please make sure that your organization or your user account is licensed.

Why does an administrator approval dialog appear when first launching the AskBrian AI Assistant Add-In, and how should I handle it?

Some users see a dialog when first launching the add-in that appears to request administrator approval to unlock the app. This request is not necessary. Still, the standard login procedure for the AskBrian AI Assistant Add-In is not supported by some organizations, universities, or schools. Therefore, PowerPoint incorrectly displays this administrator dialog.

Here’s what to do:
1. Cancel the request to the administrator.
2. Ignore the subsequent error message from PowerPoint.
3. On the login screen, choose the option “Login via Email”.
4. Enter your email address (the same you used to register for the trial).
5. You will then receive a login code via email.
6. You can use this code to log in successfully.

Good to know:
– Your authentication remains valid on the device for 30 days.
– After that, simply repeat the login process.
– You do not need administrator rights or approval from your organization.

How to uninstall?

You can remove the AskBrian AI Assistant at any time. To do this, simply go to the Windows Control Panel -> Programs -> Programs and Features or Windows Settings -> Apps -> Installed Apps. Search for ‘AskBrian AI Assistant’ and select ‘Uninstall’.
